The Technical Reality: Why Native Apps Fail When Powered Off

Do Not Disturb modes still allow notifications to accumulate on your lock screen, tempting you to check. Powering your phone completely off breaks the addictive loop. Outpost guards your boundaries server-side.

HOW OUTPOST SOLVES IT: Outpost runs as a secure, authenticated cloud companion daemon. When your phone powers off, the cloud session remains active on Outpost's hardened server infrastructure. Incoming messages are processed according to your cooldown rules and rate-limits, sending calm return estimates without waking your physical phone.
